Ivan Juric promptly took charge of the team following his appointment as Roma’s new head coach.
The ex-Torino man slotted into yesterday’s training along with his staff to prepare for the upcoming match with Udinese.
In addition to the new rule which he insisted on – requesting all players to stay at Trigoria until dinner time, sharing the meal together and only then returning home – Juric made it a point to address the team ahead of Sunday.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Juric made his first speech short but concrete.
“We have to learn to get to know each other quickly, Udinese is on Sunday and we have to bring home the victory. The best response at this moment is to give our all on the pitch,” he told the players.
After the speech, Juric presented to the team the members of his staff and outlined the methods of training they will focus on in the coming weeks.
