Leipzig join Roma in race for Guéla Doué, Rennes present player with new contract

Guéla Doué is being targeted by several clubs including Roma.

The Ivorian fullback has been linked with the Giallorossi over the last few weeks.

He is said to be one of Roma’s top targets for the summer.

Daniele De Rossi has asked Roma for two additional fullbacks in this window and, in turn, Roma have suggested Guéla Doué as an option.

The 21-year-old, however, is also being monitored by Leipzig, writes Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

In the meantime, Rennes have offered the player a new contract – an attempt to raise his pricetag in this transfer window.
