Manchester City Star Kyle Walker’s Marriage on the Rocks as Wife Annie Kilner Files for Divorce

Kyle Walker’s wife, Annie Kilner, filed the England footballer with divorce papers because she ‘simply can’t forgive him for what he’s done to her.’

The 31-year-old mother of four has instructed attorneys to initiate legal proceedings as she prepares to fight for half of the Manchester City defender’s £27 million wealth.

The documents were served on Walker 10 days ago, and MailOnline knows he had returned to their family home in Cheshire but not into Kilner’s bed.

The 34-year-old footballer, who makes around £175,000 per week, is alleged to have been sleeping separately from Kilner in a room on the mansion’s third floor.

The pair split up last December when Walker was reported to have fathered a second child with model Lauryn Goodman.

As their tumultuous relationship hit a new low, a source told MailOnline: ‘Things are as bad between them as they have ever been. It wasn’t like a normal marriage.

‘They have barely been speaking to each other. She is divorcing Kyle because she just can’t forgive him for what he’s done to her. She can’t get over it. She has tried.

‘Kyle seems to have accepted it’s over. He’s been happier in the last week or so. Like the weight of the world’s been lifted from his shoulders.’
