Matthew Ryan flies to France to complete Lens transfer

Matthew Ryan is set to leave Roma after only six months.

The Australian keeper – unhappy with his limited playing time behind Mile Svilar – demanded a transfer out of the Italian capital.

Roma satisfied the goalie’s request and reached an agreement with Lens for Ryan’s permanent move.

The Giallorossi will earn around 800,000 euros for a player whom they welcomed in free agency last summer.

According to Il Romanista, Ryan flew to Paris earlier today ahead of his medical with Lens.

In his place, Roma are ready to bring in Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta.
