Mixed reactions trail video of Cassper Nyovest performing late AKA’s song at show

AKA, also known as Kiernan Forbes, continues to be remembered and loved even after his passing, receiving tribute from fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest.

Despite their long-standing feud, which ended with AKA’s tragic death in Durban, Cassper Nyovest honored the late rapper by performing AKA’s hit song “All Eyes On Me” featuring Burna Boy during a recent show.

The crowd cheered in response, but reactions on social media were mixed following the unexpected tribute.

AKA was sadly gunned down outside a restaurant, with the perpetrators still at large.

Rapper L-Tido shared a video of the performance on Twitter, captioning it, “Were they really enemies???” The post quickly went viral, sparking conversations among fans.

Some reminded others that AKA himself had performed Cassper’s songs while alive.

One user commented, “Mega did the same thing once. I don’t remember you asking this question then.”

However, others questioned Cassper’s intentions, accusing him of using AKA’s music for personal gain.

“AKA is gone, so this is just pure exploitation for relevance,” one user wrote.
