Monza CEO Adriano Galliani: “We wanted Pisilli, but Roma said no.”

Monza executive Adriano Galliani revealed his club’s past interest in Roma starlet Niccolo Pisilli.

In an interview with Sky Sport, Galliani discussed his side’s pursuit of the 20-year-old midfielder and Roma’s resistance to the idea of letting go of him.

“We asked for Pisilli ten months ago, Roma said no,” said Galliani.

“We renewed out interest this summer but Roma did not budge,” he added.
