It’s a busy time in European football, with deals flying in before the transfer window slams shut. Some will give Chelsea an edge, while others might pull the rug out from under us, especially when it comes to key targets.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Napoli and Saudi club Al Ahli have reached a “total agreement” on the transfer of striker Victor Osimhen. The deal? It’s set to reach a whopping €80 million, and the 25-year-old forward will pocket €25-30 million annually. And that’s not all—the contract also includes a very manageable release clause, sitting just under €100 million.

A medical is already on the books, but the decision now lies with Osimhen. Will he sign on the dotted line and make the move to Saudi Arabia There’s a chance he’ll drag his feet, hoping to nudge Chelsea or another European club into making a last-minute offer.

According to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Osimhen’s agent is ironing out the final details of the deal with Al Ahli. The Nigerian star, who topped the Serie A scoring charts in 2022-23, had initially wanted to stay in Europe. Talks with Chelsea and PSG were on the table, but their offers didn’t quite hit the mark. Now, with an €80 million deal in the works and a four-year contract worth €40 million per season, it looks like Osimhen is heading to the Saudi Pro League.
