Notice to BitMEX HK Users and Residents of Hong Kong S.A.R.

On 30 April 2024, we are restricting access to users who are residents of Hong Kong S.A.R. – Hong Kong residents seeking to register on BitMEX HK will not be permitted to register or trade. Hong Kong residents will continue to be unable to register or trade on BitMEX’s global platform.

In addition, we would like to remind existing BitMEX HK users to close any unfulfilled orders and withdraw their funds, as soon as possible before 30 April 2024. From 30 April 2024 onwards, any unfulfilled order for spot pairs will be cancelled, and Hong Kong resident users will not be able to place any new orders. They will be allowed to withdraw funds.

We would like to remind existing BitMEX HK users to withdraw their funds and close any unfulfilled orders as soon as possible before 30 April 2024. Any unfulfilled order for spot pairs will be cancelled, and Hong Kong resident users cannot place any new orders.

For the avoidance of doubt, the above changes only apply to Hong Kong residents using the BitMEX HK mobile app and have no impact on other BitMEX users.
