Official: Mario Hermoso moves to Bayer Leverkusen

Roma have announced the temporary departure of Mario Hermoso.

The Spanish defender completed a move to Bayer Leverkusen on loan until the end of the season.

“AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Bayer Leverkusen regarding a loan move for Mario Hermoso,” reads the club’s official statement.

“The Spanish defender arrived in the Italian capital in 2024 and has made 13 appearances to date, bagging one goal for the Giallorossi.

The club wishes Mario the best of luck for his time in the Bundesliga.”
