Paulo Dybala is hoping to have convinced Lionel Scaloni to continue relying on him as an option for international duty.
After having been reinserted into Argentina’s squad list for their most recent World Cup Qualifiers, Dybala is strongly counting on being called up again for the upcoming international break.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Dybala – who has missed the last match against Venezia as a result of a minor injury suffered in the first half with Athletic Club a week ago – has asked Roma’s staff for careful management in his recovery.
The last thing Dybala would want is to rush his recovery and worsen his condition ahead of the next international break.
The newspaper claims that Roma will not push him: the club want him to rest in the midweek fixture with Elfsborg in order to be ready for Monza on the weekend.
