Report: Romelu Lukaku increasingly tempted by future in Saudi Arabia

The future of Roma striker Romelu Lukaku is yet to be defined as his loan spell in the Eternal City is winding to an end.

With only a couple of months left until the end of the season, Lukaku is expected to make important considerations regarding his own future as Roma are unlikely to fulfill Chelsea’s demands for him.

According to today’s report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku is growing increasingly tempted by the idea of playing in the Saudi Pro League.

After rejecting a salary offer of €50 million per season last year, Lukaku is now said to be willing to consider a future in Saudi Arabia if it would guarantee him a permanent move away from Chelsea.

For the moment, Roma do not appear to be interested in making Lukaku’s stay a permanent one.
