Roma and Ajax to close deal for Rensch in 48 hours

Roma are rapidly advancing toward their first signing of the January window.

Devyne Rensch is increasingly looking like the priority reinforcement that Roma will add in the coming days.

The Dutch fullback is in fact very close to joining the Giallorossi.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma and Ajax are making progress in their talks.

The two clubs have narrowed the gap between Roma’s offer and the Lancers’ demands.

The will is to try to close the deal in the next 48 hours.

By taking the Dutch full-back now (whose contract expires in June), Roma would anticipate the many competitors: Napoli and De Zerbi’s Marseille had already made their move.
