With only a day left before kick-off to a crucial must-win game with Udinese, Roma are facing a heated environment in the aftermath of De Rossi’s sacking.
The fans, in fact, continue to boycott the American ownership and their decision to dismiss De Rossi just four matchdays into the new season.
In addition to the Curva Sud’s announcement of their decision to remain outside the Stadio Olimpico for the first 30 minutes of the game tomorrow, supporters of the club have continued to decorate the city with banners threatening Roma’s top management.
The latest one, in the district of Corviale, is perhaps the most explicit in its sentiment.
“Friedkin, we aren’t in the American ghetto,” reads the banner in English before switching to Italian. “Here we will rip your hearts out.”
