Roma have added Newcastle forward Yankuba Minteh to the long list of names the club are monitoring ahead of the summer.
The Giallorossi continue their search for fresh reinforcements for Daniele De Rossi’s team.
In particular, the capital club want to rejuvenate their attack and bring in a striker with potential and who would fit Roma’s new long-term project aimed at financial sustainability.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are interested in Yankuba Minteh owned by Newcastle.
The 20-year-old Gambian winger played last season in the Eredivise, on loan at Feyenoord.
His price tag is around €30 million.
Di Marzio reports that in recent days the Giallorossi have shown some interest in Yankuba Minteh, but Marseille and Everton are further ahead in the race.
In the previous season, Minteh played on loan at Feyenoord, collecting 11 goals and 6 assists in 37 appearances.
