South Korean inflation data for December 2024

Headline CPI +1.9% y/y, the most rapid rise in 4 months

Headline CPI +0.4% m/m

Core +1.8% y/y

  • prior +1.9%

For the year 2024 inflation came in at +2.3% y/y

  • 2023 was +3.6%
