Spain April preliminary CPI +3.3% vs +3.3% y/y expected

  • Prior +3.2%
  • HICP +3.4% vs +3.4% y/y expected
  • Prior 3.3%

The good news here is that core annual inflation is seen slipping lower to 2.9%. It is still on the high side but has moderated quite a bit in recent months. The previous reading in March was 3.3%.
