Trudeau indicates that the trade war isn’t about to end

I don’t like the sound of this comment:

  • We will continue to be in a trade war that was launched by the United States for the foreseeable future
  • As long as there are tariffs on Canada from the US that are completely unjustified, we will be responding strongly

To me this hints that there are no plans in the works to change anything. That said, Trump can change on a dime. Mexico has held off until Sunday when Trudeau’s replacement will be picked. That could be a time for a reset.
