Trump: This is a great agreement if war stops. Zelenskyy: I want to see what US is to do

Trump and Zelenskyy are meeting to sign the minerals deal. The agreement comes after some back and forth bantering that saw Trump call Zelenskyy a dictator and demanding $500B and Zelenskyy balking strongly.

What is being said?

Trump.

Zelenskyy:

• hopeful this document will be a step forward for Ukraine.
• I want to discuss what US is ready to do.
• We see a good deal for LNG terminals
• Zelenskyy on the mineral deal: This document is not enough.
• Putin began war, he has to pay

I don’t know…it seems like Zelenskyy is not all that happy, but it seems he had to offer something to stay in the graces of Pres. Trump. However, comments from Trump are focused on ending the war, and that he is more focused on compromise vs. getting it all from Russia. He is also not a huge fan of the Ukrainian leaders.
