UK November Halifax house prices +1.3% vs +0.2% m/m expected

Slight delay in the release by the source. UK house prices continued to climb in November, marking the fifth consecutive monthly increase in the index. This just reaffirms the positive momentum in the housing market, which wasn’t too badly affected by rate hikes before this anyway. It bolsters the outlook going into next year, with the BOE set to cut rates further down the line.
