US urges allies to bar companies from servicing certain Chinese chipmaking tools

It’s clear that one of the highest US priorities is to prevent China from catching up to US companies in the chipmaking race.

The latest is that a US Commerce official says the Biden administration is urging allies to bar companies from servicing certain chipmaking tools for Chinese customers.

The question is: If you’re China how do you take this? And remember that Nvidia chips are made in Taiwan.
