Arne Slot has praised one Liverpool player for his ability to adapt to a slightly unfamiliar role.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s first Premier League game back since the recent international break, Slot, who is preparing to host Nottingham Forest on Saturday, has complimented Ryan Gravenberch’s adaptability.

After struggling at Bayern Munich, the Dutch midfielder was signed by Jurgen Klopp, but has fitted seamlessly into Slot’s plans, and the Reds’ new manager has been quick to highlight the 22-year-old’s importance.
“He’s been a midfielder all his life,” Slot said.
“Maybe he’s played a bit deeper than he did before but it’s not that much of a difference.
“I think he, like the other ones who do really well, benefit from how the team is playing.”

Liverpool will kick off against Forest at 3 p.m. (UK time) tomorrow with Gravenberch expected to start alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in midfield.
