What are the main events for today?

Today is going to be a synthetic Sunday as there’s nothing on the agenda and the US is on holiday. As a reminder, the
NYSE and NASDAQ will be closed, as well as the bond market. There will also be less liquidity in the FX market. This week we won’t see the release of top tier US economic data but there will be plenty of it for the other major countries.

Central bank speakers:

  • 14:30 GMT/09:30 ET – Fed’s Harker (neutral – non voter)
  • 15:20 GMT/10:20 ET – Fed’s Bowman (hawk – voter)
  • 23:00 GMT/18:00 ET – Fed’s Waller (neutral – voter)
