Dino Melaye, a former Senator, has alleged that Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder of Living Faith Church, forcibly retired Bishop David Abioye, who served as his vice-president.
Dino Melaye stated that he chose not to attend Shiloh 2024 at Canaanland because it wouldn’t be the same without Abioye, who was retired when the church revised the retirement age from 60 to 55 in October of this year.
Abioye was 63 at the time of his retirement, while the second vice-president Bishop Thomas Aremu was 67.
He wrote: “I did not attend Shiloh 2024. Because Shiloh without Bishop Abioye is somehow.
“I can’t understand why Bishop Oyedepo, who is older, is not retired, and it is Bishop Abioye who is younger that should be forcefully retired.
